Obituary for Tammy Sottile (Carothers)

Tammy (Carothers) Sottile, 52, of Falling Waters, passed away on October 15, 2014, at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born August 6, 1962 in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Robert Arlington Carothers and the late Virginia Eleanor (Beaghan) Carothers.

She was a LPN practicing in the nursing field for twenty plus years at hospitals, nursing homes and doctor’s offices.

Tammy enjoyed camping and watching the wild life, being in the mountains and on the river. She was a member of the Berkeley County Chapter of Izaak Walton League of America, and was a NASCAR fan.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Tony Sottile; one daughter, Tiffany Berger and husband, Marvin; one step-daughter, Kacee Sottile; six grandchildren; two sisters, Robin Hetrick and husband, Paul, and Michelle Caruso; and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home with Father Allan Weatherholtz officiating.

Interment will be private.
