Obituary for Martha Alice DeLauney (Caton)

Martha Alice DeLauney, 83, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Care Haven Center.

Born November 30, 1930 in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Mary Francis Koontz Caton.

She was employed as an Avon sales representative for 46 years. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, and the Women of the Moose.

She is survived by one son, Michael Eugene DeLauney and wife, Donna of Martinsburg; three daughters, Donna Jean Hollida and husband, Bob and Marsha Robertson and husband, Moe, both of Martinsburg, and Deborah Wallace and husband, Rick of Kearneysville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph F. Caton of Glengary; and one sister, Agnes Barthlow of Dundalk, MD.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene DeLauney; one granddaughter, Kendra Rutherford and her unborn child; three brothers, Paul, Charles and Robert Caton; and two sisters, Helen Brown and Julia Rimel.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 1:00PM at Brown Funeral Home with Father Ansgar Laczko officiating.

Interment prayers will be said at Rosedale Cemetery.
