Obituary for Mildred "Douglass" DuBose

Mildred Douglass DuBose,78, of Inwood, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at her home.
Born August 28, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John Howell Douglass and Mildred Fluck Douglass.
She loved her dogs, crocheting, and enjoyed gardening.
Mildred retired from the IRS as a housekeeper.
She is survived by four sons, George Jr., Douglas, Jeffrey and James DuBose; two daughters, Kathleen DuBose, Gail Wilhelm; eighteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a brother, James Douglass.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George DuBose, Sr. a daughter, Debra Burton, and two brothers, Thomas and John Douglass.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service at the Brown Funeral Homes' South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday October 15, with Rev. Mark Unger officiating. Interment will be held in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility 330 Hospice Lane Kearneysville, WV 25430.
