Obituary for John Edward "Johnny" Gricas

John Edward Gricas, 55, of Ranson, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at his home while surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Hospice.
Born January 6, 1959, in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Edward Gricas and Gertrude May Hooper Schultz.
Johnny was a wonderful, loving husband, father, and grandfather with a heart as big as the sky. He would do anything for anyone.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly Jean Goehring Gricas, four sons: Rocky Yoon, of South Korea, Jimmy Yoon, and wife Angie, of Laurel, Maryland, William Gricas, of Curtis Bay, Maryland, and Michael Gricas, and wife Danielle, of Dundalk, Maryland; three daughters: Joanne Yoon, of Denver, Colorado, Sarah Mack, of Ranson, and Tiffany Goehring, at home; two brothers, Steven Gricas, of Arlington, Virginia, and William Gricas, and wife Beth, of Stafford, Virginia; one sister, Donna Gricas Ayres, of Gretna, Virginia; six grandchildren: Glenn Pettie, III, Michael Gricas, Jr., Eli Gricas, Jayvon Yoon, Asia Yoon, and Sean Yoon, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held 12:00 pm, Friday, September 19, 2014, at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Chaplain Douglas Knupp officiating. Interment will be private.
