Obituary for Clayton E. Wood

Clayton E. Wood, 82 of Charles Town passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in the Shenandoah Center. Born July 10, 1932 in Charles Town, he was the son of the late Henry C. Wood and Nettie Jenkins Wood. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Clayton served in the U S Army during the Korean War, 1950 – 1962. He retired from the Cives Steel Company of Winchester, VA. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Charles Town #948. He is survived by son, Roger Lee Wood and wife Ann of FL and daughter Cindy Wood of Martinsburg and one granddaughter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Ford Wood, two sisters, Virginia Engle and Martha Ott. Military graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Pleasant View Memory Gardens with the Pastor Bucky Chapman officiating.
