Obituary for Patricia Lee White (Swanson)

Patricia Lee White, 74, of Shepherdstown passed away Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014.

Born, February 19, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska she was the daughter of the late Leland A. and Kathryn M. (Fushs) Swanson.

Mrs. White was an active member of the New Street United Methodist Church Shepherdstown.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Edward White; three sons and their spouses Jim White and wife Jody; Ed White and wife Hollis and Andy White; four grandchildren Ezra, Emily, Kaziah, and Kaylee; and one sister Sharon Swanson

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Kay Brown.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the New Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dee Ann Dixon officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery at 3:15 P.M.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Street United Methodist Church; American Cancer Society; Jefferson County Community Ministries or the charity of one’s choice.
