Obituary for Green Seabolt

Green  Seabolt
Green Seabolt, 91, of Martinsburg, WV , passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the VA Medical Center.

Born August 6, 1923 in Ewing, VA he was the son of the late John and Nancy Scott Seabolt.

He was a veteran of World War II serving the US Army.

He was a member of Grace Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church.

He loved to read the Bible, his God and church. He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Burris Seabolt; one son, Johnny Seabolt; three daughters, Brenda Grady and husband, Jim, Margie Atwell and husband, Reggie; and Margaret Higgins; one step-son, Stephen Long; three step-daughters, Dianna Wilhelm, Jamie Sue Guyer, and Tina Marie Hancock; twenty four grandchildren; forty four great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Lonnie Seabolt; and one sister, Lilian Pace.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Flora Seabolt; one grandson, Jimmy Price; step-son, Jeffery W. Long; four brothers; and two sisters.

Family will receive friends on Monday, September 1, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor James Williams, Pastor Tom Blake, and Pastor Lester Horton officiating.

Military graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Brookeville, MD.
