Wallace Bruce "Wally"  Hesen Jr.
Wallace "Wally" Bruce Hesen, Jr., 72, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 while surrounded by his family at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born August 4, 1942 in Berkeley County, WV he was the son of the late Wallace Bruce and Nell Anglin Hesen.

He was a veteran of the US Navy.

He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

Wally was a founding member and past president of the Martinsburg High School Fan Club, past president of the Martinsburg Little League, and past president with the girls' softball league; and had served as Assistant District Administrator with the little league.

He was a member of the Elk's Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rebecca "Becky" McCormick Hesen; one son, Wallace Bruce "Buddy" Hesen, III; two daughters, Kim Petry and Kara Hesen; six grandchildren, A.J. Petry, Justin Petry, Christian Hesen, Blair Hesen, Jalen Hesen, and Kamarrah Dozier; and cousin, Ned Pitzer.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 1:00PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Miller officiating.

Military graveside service will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
