Obituary for Margaret Jean Welch (Dodds)

Margaret Jean Welch, 83, of Inwood, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born March 24, 1931 in Alexandria, VA she was the daughter of the late Stanford John Dodds and Margaret Briscoe Dodds.

She was a member of Westview Baptist Church and the choir. She loved to bake and sew.

She is survived by one son, Charles Richard Welch; four daughters, Virginia Ann Crooks, Betty Jean Welch, Barbara Sue Lee, and Patricia Joy Sutts; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 3:00PM at Westview Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Kelly officiating. Interment will be private.
