Thomas Robert "Scrum"  Creamer
Thomas Robert Creamer, affectionately known as Scrum entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Berkeley Medical Center. He was born on January 17, 1940 in Berkeley County. He was the son of the late Homezella B. McCann Hughes, and Milton C. Hughes, the late Thomas W. Creamer and Gloria B. Allen Creamer.

Mr. Creamer attended Paige-Jackson High School in Charles Town, WV. He served in the United States Air Force. Thomas loved sports and played for the Semi-Pro football team The Hagerstown Bears. He was an avid, die- hard Washington Redskins fan as well as a Washington Wizards fan.

Thomas was a member of Saint John’s Baptist Church as well as Destiny Baptist Church and served on the Fellowship of Deacons Ministry. Thomas sang in various choirs a few which were Wings over Jordon, Sound Of Joy, and the Brothers of Harmony.

He was a former member of Brothers of Harmony Lodge 81 AF&AM in Shepherdstown, WV. He was a former volunteered firefighter with the Shepherdstown Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a former foster parent for WVDHHR.
Thomas retired from General Motors in 1984.
Mr. Creamer leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 43 years Roxann M. Owens Creamer; 4 children Andrea M. Creamer of Williamsport, MD; twin sons Kingsley L. Creamer of Martinsburg, WV; Rev. Kent C. Creamer (Diane) of Clovis, NM and Minister Antoinette L. Creamer of Martinsburg, WV; nine grandchildren Steven, Paul, Kaven, Olivia, Asa, Keegan, twin granddaughters Yazmeen, Kameelia and Zackary; two brothers Kevin Allen of Hagerstown of MD and Steve C. Allen of Kearneysville; seven stepsiblings Rosalyn Virgo, Deloris Allen, Carol Winston, Jacqueline Liles, Evelyn Black, William T. Allen, Carlton Allen, Vincent Allen and Terry W. Allen; two aunts Emma Oglsbee of Columbus, OH and Louise Monroe of Hagerstown, MD; 3 uncle Robert McCann of New York, NY; Albert Thompson and Milton Thompson of Carlisle, Pa; Father in law Donald E. Owens, Sr. of Carlisle, Pa; special cousin Viola Hodge of Carlisle, Pa; Godson Michael Owens of Carlisle, Pa; five sisters-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law; host of Nieces, Nephew, cousins and friends.

Service will be Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00am at the South Berkeley Chapel with the Elder Justin P. Brown, Sr. and Rev. Joe D. Liles, Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 9pm on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Destiny Baptist Church 115 North Raleigh St., Martinsburg, WV.
