Obituary for Elizabeth Jenkins (Dalton)

Elizabeth (Dalton) Jenkins, 79 of Hedgesville WV passed away peacefully Saturday July 12, 2014. Elizabeth was a member of Saint Bernadette’s Roman Catholic Church in Hedgesville WV. She was born in New Bedford, MA and was the daughter of Lawrence and Lilian Dalton. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and was employed by Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford as a Home Health Care Provider until her retirement in 1997. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Robert Jenkins, her sons, Lawrence R. Jenkins (wife Paula) of South Windsor CT, Richard Jenkins (wife Patricia) of Columbia, CT and her daughter Susan M. Perry (husband William) of Warrenton, VA. She was the Grandmother of six; Christopher Jenkins (wife Kerri) of Windsor, CT, Brian Jenkins (wife Tracy) of Johnston RI, Amanda Jenkins, Laurie Jenkins, Doris Jenkins of Columbia CT, and Victoria Perry of Warrenton, VA. No calling hours are scheduled and burial services will be held privately by the family. She will be laid to rest at Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Bedford MA. Condolences will be handled by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg WV www.brownfuneralhomeswv.com.
