Obituary for Alexander J. Lee

Alexander J. Lee, 77, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born August 13, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Roger Lee and Olive (Bennett) Lee.

He was a member of the Harvest Community Church.

Al was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and retired from the U. S. West Telephone Co. as a contract agent.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Sharon (Leonard) Lee; son, David A. Lee and wife, Vanesha, of Aurora, Colorado; daughter, Tracey A. Lee and husband, David Cordova, of Aurora, Colorado; two grandchildren, Daniel J. Lee and Michael B. Lee; two honorary grandchildren, Jake and Mackenzie McCarter; and five great grandchildren, Camdyn, Mykiah, Issac, Isabelle and Victor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Richard Bennett.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Harvest Community Church with Rev. Bryan Pumphrey officiating. Military graveside services will be held in the Spring Mills Presbyterian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Harvest Community Church, 74 Dupont Road, Martinsburg WV 25404.
