Obituary for Amber Dawn Hockenberry

Amber Dawn Hockenberry, 25, of Martinsburg, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born June 4, 1989 in Winchester, Virginia, she was the daughter of Jeffery Lee Hockenberry and Dawn Barrick Hockenberry.
Amber was a loving mother, daughter, sister, niece and cousin. She was a avid Dallas Cowboy Fan and she played sports throughout the county including playing football for the Colts midget league in Martinsburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Lillian F. Brunner; little big brother, Lawrence "LJ" Hockenberry; grandmother, Sue Barrick; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; special aunts and uncles Denise and Glenn Grubb, Donna and Chris Hite; cousins, Paige Grubb, Hunter Hite, Cassidy Jernell, Rain Coontz and Chris Grubb. She is also survived by her fiancée, Corey Brunner; close and dear friends, Sierra Harley, Amanda White and Karissa Zombro.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lawrence "Sonny" Barrick..
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home.
Services and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 167th Federal Credit Union on Edwin Miller Blvd. c/o Lillian Brunner.
