Obituary for Roy Wayne Stump, Sr.

Roy Wayne Stump, Sr., 64 of Martinsburg, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 in the Berkeley Medical Center. Born May 23, 1950 in Rocky Mount, Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Stump and Annie Mae Hodges Stump. He worked as a fork lift driver for the Brentwood Industries.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Mello Stump at home, one son; Roy W. Stump, Jr., three daughters; Tina, Lisa and Angeline Stump, all of Martinsburg, four brothers; Jerry, Allen and Gerald “Bo” Stump and Roger Hodges, all of Rocky Mount, Virginia, four sisters; Carolyn Nuckols of Waynesboro, Virginia, Ann Harrington of Corning, NY, Bonnie Hodges of Maine and Naomi Stump of Virginia, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Hodges and grandchild, Collin Stump.
Funeral services will be held 5 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Jefferson Chapel with the Rev. Donald Faircloth officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
