Condolence From: Tom Collins
Condolence: Momma Lou, Bob, Tracy, Melinda & other family,
My heart and thoughts are with you now and will remain with you for the difficult days ahead. Take the wonderful memories of Bobby with you and let those memories help with the healing. Bobby was someone with a wonderful heart and free spirit.
I’d like to share one of my favorite memories of Bobby which depicts his free spirit. During our high school days, Melinda and I spent some fun times with Bobby. Here’s a particular time which happens to be my favorite memory of
Bobby and which displays his free spirit.
Back in the summer of 1980, Melinda, Bobby, and I went swimming in Back Creek near Glengary. Well, at this particular swimming hole, there was a swinging rope. Bobby decided to exercise his free spirit on this day, and he swung out over the water naked as a jay bird!! While he swung out, he exclaimed “weeeeeee”. In a nutshell, this was the fun loving Bobby I knew and will always remember.
Bobby, you will never feel pain again and your spirit is free to soar!
