Obituary for Nancy Virginia Locke (Cook)

Nancy Virginia Cook Locke, 67, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her residence.

Born March 1, 1947 in Hagerstown, MD she is the daughter of May Virginia Gross and the late Elmer Clifton Cook.

She had been employed as a truck driver with PGT Trucking.

She enjoyed animals especially her dogs and cats.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Arthur E. Locke, Jr.; two sons, James Gerald Tracey, Sr., Robert R. Tracey, Jr.; one daughter, Nancy Lee Shipper; eight grandchildren, Ben and Sonny Cunningham, Morgan, Jessica, James, Bobby, Brett, and Derrick Tracey; one brother, Elmer Clifton Cook, Jr.; one step-sister, Kathy Hadley; one step-brother, David Gross; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one brother, Gary W. Cook and step-father, Gerald Gross.

Services and interment are private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of Panhandle, 330 Hospice Ln., Kearneysville WV 25430 or the American Cancer Society, 122 High St., Morgantown WV 26501.
