Obituary for Faye Marie "Peachie" Roberts
Faye Marie “Peachie” Roberts, 62, of Martinsburg, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the Winchester Medical Center.
Born August 27, 1951 in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Martin Roberts and L. Gladys (Mason) Roberts.
She was manager of Inwood Farmers Market and retired after 36 years of service with the WV Dept. of Agriculture.
She is survived by a daughter, Bridgett Garner and husband, Marcus L. Jr. and Martin DeWayne Roberts, who was like a son, and wife, Carina; grandmother of Jaden L. Garner, Cory Martin Roberts, Courtney Marie Roberts and Kyle Matthew Roberts, one sister, Mary Lou Largent and husband, Charles; one niece, Stephanie Mongan and husband, Jody; and two great nieces and nephew.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2014, at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Francis officiating. Interment will be held at Bunker Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mickey Shafer, Donnie Grubb, Jr., Jason Butts, Cory Roberts, Tony Loy, and Brinton Byers.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19th, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
