Andrew William  Luksa
Andrew William Luksa, 81, of Martinsburg passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at his residence while under the care of his family and Hospice.
Born December 26, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Andrew Francis and Johanna Lewandowski Luksa.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was a veteran of the US Navy.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Catherine McCarthy Luksa; three sons, Andrew W. Luksa, Jr. and wife, Peggy, Michael A. Luksa and wife, Deborah, David A. Luksa and fiancee Kathy; three daughters, Maria T. Thackston and husband, Ray, Marliene A. Martin and husband, David, and Kristin Harden and husband, Eric; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Eric Hall celebrant.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S. Queen St., Martinsburg, WV 25401 or Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25403.
