Condolence: Gus....I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. I never met her, but in reading her obituary, she was quite a woman. I am very impressed with the many great things that she did during her life. It was a very full life. I know she was very proud of you. It was wonderful that you got to help her celebrate her 90th birthday. Love and deepest heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Sherry and John

Condolence: I knew Miss Emma from the VA Center from where she volunteered. I am a VA retiree and a vet. I used to make a point to speak with her if only for a second. I always felt better after speaking with her. She was a favorite of so many. I had tremendous respect for her. She was very interesting speaking about her past experiences and so always upbeat. She always took care of herself and always took pride in her appearances, unlike many much younger and healthier than she. Everyone loved her. She was a remarkable example of the Greatest Generation. After retirement I often thought of her. Due to HIPAA regulations I could never find out what had happened to her. May she rest in peace after such a long and eventful life.
