I am very impressed with the many great things that she did during her life. It was a very full life. I know she was very proud of you. Condolence: Dear Family of "Miss Emma" - What a joy she was to many while a resident @ Heartland. She had a smile always & one of the most mischievous grins I have ever seen!! Please know that you all are in my thoughts & prayers & may God bless you during this difficult time. We shall miss Miss Emma for many days to come.

Condolence: I knew Miss Emma from the VA Center from where she volunteered. I am a VA retiree and a vet. I used to make a point to speak with her if only for a second. I always felt better after speaking with her. She was a favorite of so many. I had tremendous respect for her. She was very interesting speaking about her past experiences and so always upbeat. She always took care of herself and always took pride in her appearances, unlike many much younger and healthier than she. Everyone loved her. She was a remarkable example of the Greatest Generation. After retirement I often thought of her. Due to HIPAA regulations I could never find out what had happened to her. May she rest in peace after such a long and eventful life.
