The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Essie Quaglio can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Deborah Hart
Condolence: Sorry to read of Mrs. Quaglio's passing. As one of the many people who delivered meals to Mrs. Quaglio, I would like to tell the family what a pleasure it was to make that stop on Albert Street. I always knew I would be greeted with a warm and friendly smile, even if I had interrupted a little nap. Such a sweet lady.

Condolence: Tina, Becky and Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Essie was such a gentle soul; she always had something positive to say to everyone. I have such great memories of all those Sunday afternoons when Mom, Dad, Sis and I would come to Albert St. to visit with your family. Then years later while working in downtown Martinsburg, I learned she worked at Patterson's. After doing the banking next door I would go over to see her and get a hug. Such special memories, such a special lady, and such a special family.

I have a lot of fun memories of my childhood on Albert St. when I was growing up. The Sunday dinners were the best. She was a great cook and neighbor. Essie will surely be missed by a lot of people.
