Andrew Michael Lipscomb, 20, of Bunker Hill passed away on January 1, 2014.

Born on June 4, 1993 in Oakland, Md. he was the son of Richard and Lynette Jane Shillingburg Poling.

He was a graduate of Musselman High School, and was employed as a sales associate at 7-11.
Andrew loved playing guitar and writing music.

His religious views were” Simply to respect your elders, women, and loved ones and to always protect the ones you care about no matter what, and importantly never put yourself before someone, especially a loved one!”


In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Timothy Poling; aunt and uncle Kim and Art Lentz; uncle, Kenny Rogers; cousins, Kristen, Hunter and Nick; grandfather, Robert Spahr; grandmother, Mary Poling; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be private.
