Kendra Michelle Rutherford, born April 8, 1978 was 35 years old passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at her home in Reisterstown, MD. She was born and originally from Martinsburg, WV. She is the daughter of Maurice (Moe) Robertson and Marsha DeLauney Robertson.
She attended Martinsburg High School and graduated in 1996; she also attended James Rumsey and received her Certified Nursing Degree. She attended Shepherd University. She worked at Heartland, Chevy Chase, First USA, and ICT call centers. She was currently working for an Allstate agency and had been in insurance for the past 11 years as an agent. She was a loving mother, wife, an avid Baltimore Raven Fan and Martinsburg Bulldog Fan and an Alumni of the Martinsburg Bulldog Band. She was friend to anyone who knew her.
She is survived by her parents in Martinsburg, her husband, Anthony Paul Rutherford in Reisterstown, MD, her 4 year old daughter, Alyssa Renee Rutherford at home; her brother M. Anthony (Tony) Robertson and wife, Elise; maternal grandmother, Martha A. DeLauney and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her in-laws, Lee and Sandy Kirsh and Paul and Karen Rutherford.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Donald E. DeLauney, paternal grandparents L.P. (Sarge) and Margaret Robertson. Her death was shared with her unborn child, her dog Missy, and her cat Smokey also perished.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 1:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Hartshorn officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
