Obituary for Glenn Edward Arvin

Glenn Edward Arvin, 58, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born April 10, 1955 in Berkeley County, he was the son of the late Paul E. Arvin and Nellie Swisher Wolford Arvin.

He was previously employed by Quad-Graphics.

He is survived by his wife, Shawnee Arvin; three daughters, Amber Arvin, Amy Stanley, and Ashley Custer; three step-children, Christopher and Genevieve Hensley and Tangie Lancaster; seven grandchildren, Hailey and Hayden Arvin, Jordan, Cade ,Kaycen and Zyan Stanley, and Quinn Custer; three brothers, Mark and Paul Arvin, and Terry Wolford; six sisters, Jeannetta Cross, Nancy Margaret Wolford, Susan Robinson, Hannah Butts, Eva Miller and Betty Howell; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky and Charles Arvin; and niece and nephews, Tara Arvin, Jeffrey Cross and Andy Jake Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013, Brown Funeral Home with Pastor David Davis officiating. Interment will be held at Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., prior to the service.
