Jeanne Locknane Itjen, 59, of Harpers Ferry, passed away Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 2, 1951 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late James Marshall Locknane and Rosary Eloise “Wilcox” Locknane.


She was a project manager at the Coast Guard and had previously worked as a LAN administrator for the National Museum of the American Indian, Smithsonian Institute.


Jeanne is survived by her loving husband of ten years, Don Itjen; her brother, Bush Locknane, of FL, and numerous extended family members and friends.


A memorial service will be held at 3 pm Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Dr. Henry Christie officiating. Interment will be private. Receiving from 1pm to 3 pm Saturday.
